Core Responsibilities:

Network Oversight/Maintenance

Directly oversees the performance of the various network components that best meet the needs of our business partners.

Performs the day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability and serviceability with minimal interruption.
Participates in network technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software and integration testing, as well as coordinating these activities without negatively impacting stability.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
Monitor availability, reliability, performance, utilization, trending and capacity planning.

Daily Operations

Firewall, Routing, & VoIP rule changes/creation based on issues reported/new services requested
Provide Level-2 support & liaise with other IT teams on problem resolution
Create infrastructure documentation/SOPs as needed
Participate in a rotating On-Call schedule

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

CCNA, JNCIA Or Equivalent Certification
Associates in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent field experience
Experience with VoIP (H.323 & SIP), Wireless, Network Security, and Retail brick and mortar environments.
Experience in network monitoring, analysis, and configuration of network management tools
3 - 5 years of IT Help Desk experience
2 - 4 years of experience with at least (3) of the following: Cisco, Citrix, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and SolarWinds

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to sit at a workstation in an office environment for extended periods of time and work on a PC without limitations.
Ability to move about, sit, bend, and squat in an office environment to access files and gather information.
Ability to lift up to 30lbs of equipment.
