Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Cloud Data Warehousing and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will drive end-to-end data architecture, enabling scalable, secure, and AI-ready data platforms that support advanced analytics and business decision-making.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Own and lead end-to-end solution architecture for data and analytics platforms
Design scalable, high-performance data solutions using GCP services
Define data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Drive cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and cost optimization
Incorporate AI/ML capabilities to enable predictive and intelligent analytics
Apply data mesh and domain-driven design principles to enable decentralized, scalable data ownership
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Data & Cloud

Strong experience in Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake, Medallion, Data Vault)
Hands-on expertise in GCP, including: BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow/Dataproc.

Technical

Proficiency in SQL and Python
Experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and performance optimization
Knowledge of batch & streaming architectures and API integrations

Architecture

Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and data security (IAM, governance)
Experience with modern data architecture patterns, including data mesh and domain-driven architecture

AI & Analytics

Understanding of AI/ML use cases in data platforms
Familiarity with GCP AI tools (e.g., Vertex AI) and ML-ready data pipelines

Preferred Skills:

GCP Certifications (Professional Data Engineer / Cloud Architect)
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments
Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI)
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices

*The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
